LCIA Morning Symposium and Lunch in Washington DC - 18 September 2016
A morning symposium focusing on "Efficiency and Effectiveness of Arbitration", followed by lunch. This symposium immediately precedes the IBA Annual Conference also in Washington DC.
Symposium format
In the long established LCIA tradition, this event is designed to be interactive and to provide an opportunity for delegates to share news and views on developments in the field of international commercial arbitration and ADR.
The working session will be a free flowing discussion of topics submitted in advance by delegates on current issues of key interest in the field, with a focus on “Efficiency and Effectiveness of Arbitration”.
This session will be chaired by Jean Kalicki, John Townsend and Dr Jacomijn J van Haersolte-van Hof.
Following the working session there will be a key-note address from The Rt Hon Lord Goldsmith QC PC.
Who should attend?
Arbitrators, in-house counsel, practitioners, academics and members of the local and international business community interested in, and affected by, current developments and best practice in the field of international arbitration.
