On 6 September 2023, the Law Reform Commission will publish its final report on the proposed reform of the Arbitration Act 1996, together with a draft amendment Bill. The LCIA and Herbert Smith Freehills held a panel event which discussed the practical implications of these proposed changes.

Launch of the Spanish Translation of the LCIA Rules in Mexico City

An afternoon seminar that focused on the presentation of the Spanish translation of the LCIA 2020 Arbitration Rules, with a round table session, followed by a drinks reception and opportunity to mingle. This seminar was very kindly organised in co-operation with Dr Claus von Wobeser, the Arbitration Committee of the Mexican Bar Association and the LCIA Latin American and Caribbean Users' Council.
